With over 18 years in the events industry, I still feel the same excitement I did on day one. That feeling—that spark—is what I call passion. It’s the last thing on my mind before I fall asleep and the first thing I think of when I wake up. Creating memorable experiences is not just what I do—it’s who I am.

I was born and raised in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa, where I began my journey in events at a prestigious 5-star hotel, nestled adjacent to the iconic Table Mountain and overlooking the picturesque beaches of the West Coast. It was the perfect backdrop for unforgettable weddings and luxury celebrations. That’s where my love for curating experiences truly took hold.

After getting married, my husband and I made the move to Australia to start our family. But my passion for events came with me.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a diverse range of events, from intimate boardroom meetings to large-scale conferences of up to 600 attendees. I've managed business launches, corporate functions, and special events in some truly unique settings—one of the most memorable being Robben Island, where we hosted educational school programs to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

My time at production companies sharpened my skills in end-to-end event management: from first client contact and venue sourcing to supplier coordination and delivering exceptional experiences—always on time and within budget.

Some highlights of my career include:

• Hosting corporate hospitality experiences at cricket and rugby suites—and transforming those same venues for concerts and client entertainment

• Curating bespoke golf days for major ICT companies

• Designing and delivering year-end functions, brand activations, and everything in between
